જામનગરમાં ભાજપના પ્રદેશ પ્રમુખ સી આર પાટીલના અને ભાજપના મહામંત્રી ભીખુ દલસાણીયા અને કૃષી પ્રધાન તથા પૂર્વ પ્રદેશ પ્રમુખ આર સી ફળદુના બેવડા ધોરણ દેખાયા છે. જામનગરમાં પૂર્વ મેયરના સગાને ટિકીટ આપી છે અને બીજી બાજું ડેપ્યુટી મેયરના સગાને ટિકીટ ન આપતાં તેમણે પાટીલના નિર્ણય સામે રાજીનામું આપી દીધું છે.
ભાજપમાં સ્થાનિક સ્વરાજ્યની ચૂંટણીમાં પરિવારના સભ્યોને ટિકિટ ન મળતા જામનગરના પૂર્વ ડેપ્યુટી મેયર કરશન કરમુરેએ પક્ષમાંથી પોતાનું રાજીનામું ધરી દીધું છે.
કરશન કરમુરેએ જામનગર મહાનગરપાલિકાની ચૂંટણીમાં પોતાના પરિવારના સભ્યોને માટે ટિકિટની માગી હતી. પરંતુ ટિકિટ ન આપવામાં આવતા તેઓ રોષે ભરાયા હતા. તેમને પાર્ટીમાંથી પોતાનું રાજીનામું ધરી દીધું હતું.
કરમુરેએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે, મને ટિકિટ ન આપો. મેં મારા પરિવારના સભ્યો માટે ટિકિટ માંગી હતી. પરંતુ પક્ષ દ્વારા મારી માગણી સ્વીકારવામાં આવી નથી. બળવાખોરોના પરિવારોને ટિકિટ આપવામાં આવી છે. એટલા માટે હું ભાજપમાંથી મારું રાજીનામું આપું છું.
આગામી દિવસોમાં ચૂંટણીમાં ઉભો રહેશે કે, નહીં તે બાબતે કંઈ નક્કી કર્યું નથી. ભાજપને મુશ્કેલી સર્જાય તો નવાઈ નહીં.
ભાજપે જામનગર મહાનગરપાલિકાના વોર્ડ નંબર 9માંથી ધીરેનકુમાર અને નિલેશ કગથરાને ટિકિટ આપી છે. આ બંને કોંગ્રેસના આયાતી છે. કાર્યકર્તાઓ વિરોધ કરવા માટે ભાજપ કાર્યાલય પર પહોંચ્યા હતા. કાર્યકરો તેમને ઓળખતા નથી. તેઓ આ વિસ્તારમાં રહેતા નથી. છતાં પણ તેમને ટિકિટ આપી છે. સ્થાનિક કાર્યકર્તાઓ સાથે પક્ષ દ્વારા અન્યાય કરવામાં આવ્યો છે.
જામનગર મહાનગરપાલિકાના વોર્ડ નંબર 10માં ભાજપ દ્વારા પૂર્વ મેયર હરસુખ જેઠવાના પુત્ર પાર્થ જેઠવાને ટિકિટ આપવામાં આવી છે.
તેની સામે ભારે વિરોધ નોંધાવ્યો હતો.
ભાજપના કાર્યકર્તા એ જણાવ્યું હતું કે, ભાજપ એક તરફ પરિવારવાદમાં માનતું ન હોવાની વાત કરે છે. તો બીજી બાજુ પૂર્વ કોર્પોરેટરો અને તેમના પરિવારના સભ્યોને ટિકિટની લ્હાણી કરે છે.[:en]Gandhinagar, 5 February 2021
