Ahmedabad: Today, Mumbai based German Consulate General Dr. J\u00fcrgen
\nMorhard paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani at his
\noffice in Gandhinagar and expressed gratitude for the cooperation being
\noffered to German Industries by the Gujarat Government.<\/p>\n
Dr. Morhard also congratulated the Chief Minister for giant victory achieved in
\nrecently held Lok Sabha elections.<\/p>\n
During the meeting, Dr. Morhard also briefed the Chief Minister about the
\neagerness of German companies, including Germany\u2019s biggest wind turbine
\ncompany \u2013 \u2018Enercon\u2019, to make investments in Gujarat. They also made
\ndeliberation over the possibilities for making a joint venture between German
\nUniversity and Rajkot for starting-up \u2018Indo-German Tool Room\u2019 in Rajkot.<\/p>\n
The duo also discussed about the possibilities of investments in Gujarat in the
\nfields such technologies, technical services, defense, healthcare and others. The<\/p>\n
Chief Minister also assured to the visiting diplomate that the state government
\nwill offer total cooperation to the German companies.<\/p>\n
Those who were present at the meeting, included Chief Principal Secretary to
\nthe Chief Minister, Mr. Kailashnathan, Principal Secretary Mr. M. K. Das,
