Denmark Parliament\u2019s Foreign Policy Committee meets Chief Minister, keen to co-operate with Gujarat in green energy, dairy, agriculture<\/p>\n
Gandhinagar, Wednesday: A six-member delegation of Denmark Parliamentary Foreign Policy Committee, led by Mr. Martin Lidegaard, called on Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani here today.<\/p>\n
Impressed by Gujarat\u2019s all round development, the delegation evinced keen interest in green energy, dairy and agriculture sectors. In addition, they discussed in detail the scope of bilateral trade and investment, and Gujarat Government\u2019s policy in industrial economy, renewable energy and other sectors.<\/p>\n
Mr. Lidegaard sai will participate in the Gujarat\u2019s biennial flagship event Vibrant Summit-2021 with multi-party delegation.<\/p>\n
Mr. Rupani apprised the delegation with Gujarat Government\u2019s incentive policies for greater share of non-conventional sources of energy like wind, solar and hybrid energy policies for domestic and industrial purposes, subsidy scheme for use of 100 per cent solar energy in MSME sectors, self-reliance in water management. He also explained Gujarat\u2019s initiative and edge in natural farming, high-speed rail, BRTS, electric vehicles and dedicated rail freight corridor.<\/p>\n
