\nIn two years, narcotics worth Rs 3955 crore 51 lakh 70 thousand 262, heroin, cocaine, ganja, opium, Poshadoda, Mephedrone etc. have been seized from 21 districts. 3400 accused involved in these crimes are yet to be arrested. Many times more drugs are consumed in the state than are caught; the educated unemployed youth of the state are becoming addicted to drugs. Gujarat has become a BJP state. Drugs worth about Rs 4,050 crore have been seized.<\/p>\n

\nDrugs figures have come to light in the Assembly that Adani Port has become a landing hub for drugs on the Kutch coast. If drugs worth crores of rupees are seized at Kam Adani Port then are they not prosecuted and put behind bars? There is a government policy of confiscation, such a situation has arisen that the confiscation goes from the police station to the Chief Minister’s office. Gujarat is flying.<\/p>\n
On a question asked by MLA Ganiben Thakor in Gujarat Assembly, the government replied that it is clear that Gujarat is making progress in drug de-addiction. Gujarat’s youth is being wasted, while country liquor, foreign liquor, beer and intoxicants are being sold openly, the government is feeling proud instead of ashamed.<\/p>\n

\nIn the year 2021\/22, within two years, 1.66 crore bottles of foreign liquor have been seized in Gujarat. Foreign types of liquor come into Gujarat from outside the state limits of Gujarat. \nIn Gujarat, 23 lakh liters of country liquor has been seized and 12 lakh bottles of beer have been seized. Country liquor distilleries are running at many places. Rupee. 18 lakh 19 thousand 912 liters of country liquor worth Rs 2 crore 87 lakh 84 thousand 143 has been seized.
