Dwarka’s Signature Bridge, built with public money worth Rs. 1 thousand crore, has developed cracks within 5 months. Which has been named Sudarshan Setu. But here the virtuous cycle of corruption is being repeated again. A few days ago, the wall of the Sudarshan Setu bridge collapsed. There have been allegations of corruption in the construction of the bridge at the abode of Lord Dwarkadhish.<\/p>\n
Within 5 months of the inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 25 February 2024, cracks have appeared in the bridge. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel have been held responsible for what happened in the bridge.<\/p>\n
This bridge, known as Sudarshan Setu, connects Okha mainland and Bat-Dwarka island. The shine of the bridge has faded somewhere now.<\/p>\n
The expenditure of Rs 956 crore seems to be sinking in sea water. Within 5 months, the iron rods of the bridge have started appearing. A layer has started forming on the bridge. The work of the bridge is of poor quality. If the Bhupendra government does not wake up, an accident like the Morbi Hanging Bridge can happen.<\/p>\n
The joints of the bridge are exposed. What kind of work does the contractor get done. Many bridges have been built in Gujarat and questions have been raised about their performance. Will any action be taken against the contractor? It seems corruption is at its peak. Congress has demanded an inquiry.<\/p>\n
