Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani as the
\nLeader of the House moved a resolution in the State Assembly today to unanimously
\ncondemn in strong words the death of 44 jawans in the terrorist attack at Pulwama in
\nJammu & Kashmir on February 14 last.
\nLeader of the Opposition Pareshbhai Dhanani, Deputy Chief Minister Nitinbhai Patel and
\nother members of the House paid their tributes to the martyrs.
\nIn the resolution, the House strongly condemns this attack, pays tributes to the jawans and
\nprays for peace to the departed souls.
\nExpressing grief at the martyrdom of 44 jawans in the cowardly and inhuman attack, the
\nChief Minister recalled that the nation\u2019s unity under the name of religion has been under
\nattack since long as terrorist attack on Kashmir is still on. There is no reason for the Armed
\nForces or the Governments to lose confidence. The nation feels proud for type of people\u2019s
\nretaliatory reactions it is getting for the bereaved families. Parents say that if they have
\nsecond son would send them to Military. People are sending their contributions for all
\ncorners of the nation for the bereaved families.
\nAll political parties have come together to unitedly fight terrorism. Realising the gravity of
\nthe attack, the Central Government has also taken up several strict actions against
\nterrorism. Every citizen firmly believes the Central Government may take stricter actions to
\neliminate terrorist and end terrorism.
\nPrime Minister Narendra Modi also agree with the public angst that terrorists have
\ncommitted a grave mistake for which they would have to pay heavy price. The martyrdom
\nwould not go waste. Every drop of blood shed by the jawans would be revenged.
\nOn the other hand, severe anger against Pakistan and terrorists has burst open among
\nevery citizen of the country. They are reposing full faith on our Armed Forces, on our
\nGovernment. Every person wish fight should be taken to the level of faceoff. The Union
\nGovernment has started taking definite steps to ensure there should be no terrorist activity
