Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani today categorically stated that the people, who have migrated to Gujarat from other parts of the country for the employment and business, have made noticeable contributions in the all-round ground of Gujarat. He was speaking as a chairman of a cultural function organized by Odisha Samaj in diamond city of Surat, this evening.
The Chief Minister said that now Gujarat has become a land of opportunities and chosen place for investments and setting up industries. This is due to reasons like prevailing industrial peace and safety, world class infrastructural facilities, stringent law and order situation and policy of “Zero Tolerance” against the corruption, and others in Gujarat.
Mr. Rupani admitted that the people of Odisha have merged themselves with locals like sugar gets melted into milk. He also thanked them for contributing in development of Gujarat through their hard works. He also called on every state to work hard to contribute in the growth of the country.
Others who spoke on the occasion included Union Petroleum Minister Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan. The occasion was also graced by Gujarat’s Forest Minister Mr. Ganpatsinh Vasava, Gujarat’s Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Mr. Ishwarbhai Parmar, MPs from Surat, Mayor and others.
