Surat: Singanpore Police has arrested the journalist who made a video of molesting a girl walking on the road in Surat’s Singanpore area and made the video viral without the knowledge of the family and gave it to a freelance journalist who revealed his identity.
The 12-year-old girl, studying in Class 6 in Surat’s Singanpore area, was on her way home from tuition in the second week of January when a roadside laborer molested her in public. There is no complaint of defamation of the girl, the video of the incident captured in CCTV camera went viral in such a way that their identity was exposed. Singanpore police has registered a case against the laborer who raped the girl and the freelance journalist who made her video viral. And on the basis of the complaint of the child’s father, he was arrested from Rajasthan. Meanwhile, the police interrogated freelance journalist Tushar Basia, who made the video of the incident viral, and two people who went live on Facebook about the incident.
