Factionalism in Gujarat BJP

A meeting was called at the BJP headquarters in Gandhinagar on 27 December 2024. Even though Chandrakant Patil held a meeting to resolve the internal strife in the BJP after it escalated, the dispute has not subsided. Major disputes occur in cities.

After the announcement of the new organizational structure in Gujarat BJP, internal discontent has arisen in many areas. There have been allegations of casteism in the announcement of 400 Mandal Presidents and Ward Presidents in the first phase. Controversial people have been given posts.

Caste-based selection is alleged.

There are so many internal differences among the leaders of the BJP party that they do not need Congress or enemies. BJP has ruled Gujarat for 3 decades. Due to which the leaders are also shaken. The state of internal turmoil in the party is such that when enmity increases, they expose each other, correspondence has become a common thing. Even before this, a letter exposing BJP leaders has gone viral.

Vadodara
Satish Nishalia has hit back in the case of the video regarding the Dodra District BJP President. President Satish Nishalia is against Bharti Bhanvadia. Bharatiben was made in-charge of Waghodiya at the behest of Atul Patel. But realizing that he was not even a primary member, we resigned.

The internal dispute in Gujarat BJP has reached its peak. Now the workers are exposing the BJP leaders.

The plaque had to be removed due to the name dispute regarding the construction of a new office in Vadodara. Protests were held against the city BJP leader Vijay Shah.

Former Deputy Mayor Sunita Shukla and former councilor clashed while filling the form to become the city president.

The Thakor and Chaudhary community in Ahmedabad have protested their neglect in the new appointment.

A worker associated with the Ahmedabad land dispute getting the post of president has created a controversy.

In Sabarkantha and Aravalli, there has been a rebellion due to the selection of such candidates for the post of president who were earlier embroiled in controversies.

In areas like Rajkot and Vadodara, there is resentment among the workers due to the appointment of old office bearers as Mandal Presidents again.

A special report of the areas was ordered but no solution was found.

The appointment of city presidents in metros like Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Surat, Vadodara etc. will be done after the appointment. It is certain to flare up again.

Another letter bomb of Jawahar Chavda has exploded regarding doing anti-party work in 2022. Which is ruining the BJP. The letter of Manavadar leader and Junagadh Bank director Dinesh Tilwa was made public. Jetha Panera, Narayan Solanki, Dinesh Khataria of Vanthali, Manoj Thummar, husband of Taluka Panchayat Vice President, Arjan Devarnia of Vanthali, Bhavesh Mendpara, Chirag Rajani, Chandresh Khut, Veenu Rajani have been accused. The work of District Organization General Secretary V.D.Kardani is suspicious.

As soon as the names of anti-party leaders were announced, politics has heated up in Girnar area.

Sarpanchs of 35 villages of Junagadh taluka have given collective resignation over development.

Cut
The Katki King of Ahmedabad is Amul Bhatt Dharmendra Shah. He conspires over money. No one speaks because of the BJP worker Chandal quartet.

BJP MLA Amul Bhatt, Ahmedabad in-charge and state treasurer Dharmendra Shah were removed from Maninagar assembly on the issue of corruption.

Patra Paul had opened a front against Dharmendra Shah’s gang.

The BJP worker also called the leaders cash king and Katki king.

Maninagar MLA and former standing committee chairman committed corruption worth crores
The letter also asked the women workers of Maninagar to avoid the lewd Swami.

Anand Daga, Amul Bhatt, Vipul Sevak, Dhawal Rawal of Ahmedabad are all pearls of the same necklace. The gang has cash. Daga has made everyone his fools by showing them money. Dharmendra Shah is already a partner in AMTS buses and garbage vehicles.

He had a big role in making Shitalben Daga a Dandak.

Even Lafra of Maninagar knows the party leaders and the whole village. The sisters of Maninagar should be saved from this lumpatswami.

Nine months ago, during the Lok Sabha elections, there was an internal rift within the BJP in North Gujarat, the hometown of Modi and Shah

Anklav

Factionalism in the Ankleshwar BJP organization has come out in the open. The workers who joined BJP from Congress resigned from the party by accusing Enclave City BJP General Secretary Vishal Patel of family-related issues.

22 office bearers of various cells including Kisan and Yuva Morcha also resigned in support of the General Secretary.

BJP’s position in Enclave Assembly constituency was very bad in the Lok Sabha elections. Factionalism and caste equations were formed in the BJP organization. The dispute is not calming down.

General Secretary Vishal Patel said in his resignation that five people who joined BJP from Congress in Enclave city have defamed his family. Business was also disrupted. Anand also informed District President Rajesh Patel.

Amreli
Amreli MP and senior leader Narayan Kachadia directly accused the top leadership of the party. Questioned the selection of Bharat Sutaria. Candidate selection and displeasure of workers were directly responsible for the weak voting in Amreli. Arvind Ladhani started it. Jawahar Chavda was active in defeating me. His son called a secret meeting on May 4 and conspired to defeat me.

Naranbhai Kachadia was already upset. He also made statements against candidate Bharatbhai Sutaria. AAP was accused of cheating the voters of Amreli by giving ticket to a person who could not even give an interview.

Bharatbhai Sutaria also wrote a reply letter to Naranbhai Kachadia. Khachadia was accused of insulting the parliamentary board.

Dr Bharat Kanabar gave a statement, BJP may have cheated in the selection of the candidate and due to this, for the first time such opposition and dissatisfaction was seen in the party in Gujarat.

There was a matter between Patil and Naranbhai.

Vadodara

These comments came after party candidates Ranjan Bhatt and Bhikhaji Thakor withdrew their candidature in Vadodara and Sabarkantha for the May 7 Lok Sabha elections and were later replaced by other candidates.

Protest continues

Protest against Vadodara BJP candidate Dr. Hemang Joshi continued.

Jitu Sukhadia

Former BJP MLA Jitu Sukhadia expressed displeasure against the party and said that the condition of BJP in the city has worsened. No one will ask anyone. It is a serious matter that those who put up banners were running the party. Vadodara city BJP’s organization failed. This was a political move to fulfill personal ambition. We are not informed about the program of any candidate. There is a lack of coordination in BJP. The workers were being taken lightly. The functioning of the organization is not right, we informed the in-charge and the state Movdi Mandal about this.

Patil says factionalism

Warning against local discontent in the Lok Sabha elections 2024, he said that Gujarat BJP will not tolerate any kind of factionalism.

If some leaders fight among themselves, let them fight. But the workers should not become the hands of the leaders.

For many days I have been seeing posts being written against each other on social media. Then it is made viral. This is a crime. If someone writes such a post and sends it to you, stay away.

It will not be tolerated. Sometimes tickets may or may not be available. It is possible that I may never get a ticket. Any opposition campaign against such decisions cannot be tolerated.

No factionalism will be allowed in the state unit of BJP. Any kind of factionalism is not tolerated in Gujarat. For that, work to bring the lotus symbol. We will win by more than five lakh votes.

Defeat is not an option for BJP workers. Victory and defeat are an integral part of electoral politics. Defeat is not acceptable to us. At least not because of any small mistake.

Porbandar

Posters were also put up against Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, BJP candidate from Porbandar, in Rajkot’s Dhoraji city and some villages. After the posters, a political war of words has started. Congress blamed internal differences within the BJP for the banners.

Dahod

Internal factionalism is going on in the BJP in Dahod Nagar Palika. BJP members rebelled against the BJP city president. There was a storm of internal protests. 24 out of 34 BJP members disappeared. The rebel members were searched in Rajasthan. Their anger was against the President.

Vansda

The period of controversies continued within the BJP in Vansda in 2014 as well. In a Diwali get-together, Gandevi MLA Naresh Patel protested from the public platform and said that we are not afraid of Congress in Gujarat. We were afraid of our own people. In BJP, the party was accusing the leaders. There was a lot of controversy in the BJP about this.

Savli MLA

BJP MLA from Savli seat of Vadodara, Ketan Inamdar, has sent his resignation to the Assembly Speaker through email. Later, the resignation was withdrawn. He resigned alleging that the officers were not solving the problems of the people.

Ketan Inamdar protested against Congress’ Kuldeep Rahul being brought to BJP after switching sides. At that time too, there was a hint of resignation. After this, Kuldeep Singh was appointed in-charge of Dabhoi assembly. I had already announced that I will not contest the next assembly elections.

Jawahar
Jawahar Chavda, who brought Karali’s turncoat from Congress to BJP, protested. Kamal was removed from his post. Mansukh posted a video on Facebook and challenged Mandaviya.

The victorious leader is opposing the defeated leaders

Rudh used to express his anger publicly.

Internal cracks started growing.

Veterinarian and MP Mansukh Mandaviya met former Manavadar MLA Jawahar Chavdanu in Vanthali.

Without taking his name, he created a controversy. If you want to move ahead of Kamal’s name, then you have to do Kamal’s work. Kamal was immediately removed from the office of Jawahar Chavda Peeth. Pointing a finger with a torch on the photo, he says, Mansukh Bhai, this was my identity, not in your mind. If you had so much courage or strength, then you should have spoken before the elections or during the elections.’

Manavadar war

When the entire government of Vijay Rupani was gathered at home, Jawahar Chavda was also gathered at home. After becoming a minister, Jawahar Chavda came into the opposition. He lost the election to Arvind Ladhani of Congress. Ladhani also left the Congress and joined the BJP. Therefore, the quarrels increased. Chavda Katti Ladhani was given a ticket in the Manavadar Legislative Assembly by-election. Due to which Jawahar Chavda was very angry. During the elections, Jawahar Chavda’s son openly campaigned against the BJP.

Bavlia and Bogra
Jasdan taluka BJP president Vallabh Ramani resigned. The dispute was not resolved even after two years in 2024. The dispute over Bavlia and Bogra was flaring up again and again.

The Bavlia and Bogra dispute in Jasdan was going on for a long time.

Factionalism in BJP kept coming to the fore in Jasdan taluka.

Morbi reached Delhi
The cold war between former BJP MLA Brijesh Merja and former BJP MLA Kanti Amritia continues in Morbi. After Judhav, Amritia reached Prime Minister Madi and protested.

Jayesh was disgraced
BJP leaders formed a front against Jayesh Radadia in Jetpur. A memorandum was given to the high command regarding corruption in the district bank recruitment. Whatever the election, BJP factions were engaged in a race to cut each other’s ticket. Wires were connected to Delhi.

BJP state president C. R. for the election of the post of director of IFFCO. Discontent among Saurashtra leaders came to the fore when Patil gave the mandate to Bipin Patel.

Jayesh Radadiya, ignoring the government order, filled the election form for the post of director of IFFCO. He defeated Bipin Gota and that too with the help of BJP leader Dileep Sanghani.

Jayesh Radadiya’s victory was a big setback for Patil.

Jayesh Radadiya was already upset. He was not made a minister in Bhupendra Patel’s government. Unedwar was not formed from Porbandar in the Lok Sabha elections.

Patil, while giving a statement, said that some people are doing ‘Ilu-Ilu’ with the people of the opposition party. That is, they were talking about Dileep Sanghani and Radadiya.

Dileep Sanghani, while giving a befitting reply to Patil, said that if a leader is in the Congress in the morning and in the evening he is given a ministerial post or any other post, then it is called ‘Ilu-Ilu’.

Saurashtra faction against Surat lobby

There was widespread discontent in the BJP in Saurashtra in 2024. Two factions called Surat’s Patil lobby and Saurashtra lobby joined the party. A lobby of BJP in Saurashtra was opposing Patil. Saurashtra politics is centered on Surat. Patil is from Surat and hence the Saurashtra lobby was now against him.

Patil had filed a case against Patel leaders. Hence, there was opposition among BJP leaders.

MLA Kumar Kanani also expressed displeasure over Saurashtra Lok Sabha’s Alpesh Kathiria and Rithiya Malviya being taken into BJP.

When Patil became the state president of BJP, he gave a statement that I will not take any Congress leader into BJP. Actually, he brought 25 thousand Congress cadres and hundreds of leaders into the party. This was being opposed. This was the biggest reason for communalism.

Born in Maharashtra and spending his childhood there, Patil came to Surat in his youth in search of employment. Although he grew up in Gujarat, he was not considered acceptable in Gujarat BJP due to being Marathi.

His iron discipline tickles everyone. No one spoke against him because he had the blessings of PM Modi. He won 156 seats in the assembly elections as well.

When an attempt was made to give a mandate by removing Jayesh Radadia in the cooperative sector, discontent erupted.

Dilip Sanghani broke Patil’s plans

When Patil advocated for the removal of Jayesh Radadia from the cooperative sector, IFFCO chairman Dilip Sanghani came in front of Patil.

Sources also say that the way Dilip Sanghani reacted to Patil’s ‘Ilu-Ilu’ statement, it seems that the dispute between Patil and Sanghani may increase in the near future.

Sanghani’s 71st birthday was celebrated recently. Seeing the way leaders of the cooperative sector and the party were present on that occasion, experts are calling it a show of strength.

When 6 directors of the rival group were leaving, the police arrested Paresh Shah.
