Thousands of kilos of narcotics are being seized in the state, how many narcotics are being sold through the back door, this question is confusing the public. Gujarat has become the AP center of drugs.
In five years, 93691 kg of drugs, 2229 liters of liquid drugs and 73163 intoxicating pills-injections were seized in Gujarat. Gujarat is becoming the silk route of drug smuggling.
April 2024
(ATS and Narcotics Control Bureau raided Bhaktinagar, Amreli, Gandhinagar and Sirohi, Osia in Rajasthan and seized mephedrone worth Rs 230 crore. A total of 13 accused were arrested in the joint operation.
June 2024
Gujarat ATS and NCB conducted a joint operation and seized drugs worth Rs 1814 crore from a factory in Madhya Pradesh. 907 kg of mephedrone has been seized from Bargoda Industrial Area near Bhopal.
July 2024
A factory manufacturing mephedrone drugs was caught in Palsana, Surat. Three were caught with drugs worth Rs 51 crore.

68 lakh at Mundra port in Kutch, Tramadol tablets worth Rs 110 crore were seized by the Customs Department from Mundra port to West Africa. In which tablets worth Rs 31 crore were seized from a pharmaceutical unit located at DIDC in Jolva, Bharuch and Liquid was seized.
August 2024
Gujarat ATS seized drugs worth Rs 800 crore from a factory in Thane, followed by liquid tramadol drugs worth Rs 31 crore from Bharuch.
October 2024
The Narcotics Cell of DRI and CID raided Umargam GIDC and Dehri in Valsad and seized a factory manufacturing mephedrone. Three people were arrested with 17 kg of liquid mephedrone worth Rs 25 crore.

Delhi Police had seized cocaine worth Rs 7 thousand crore in two phases earlier in the month. During the investigation, drugs were found in Ankleshwar GIDC. Where 518 kg of finished cocaine worth Rs 5 thousand crore was seized.

The Ahmedabad Crime Branch and DRI raided a factory in Aurangabad and seized drugs worth Rs 250 crore.
August 2022
Teams of Gujarat ATS and Mumbai Anti Narcotics Cell raided factories in Vadodara and Ankleshwar and seized mephedrone worth Rs 2400 crore. Drugs worth Rs 1026 crore were seized from Ankleshwar on August 13. Another drug worth Rs 1400 crore was seized from the accused’s Nallasopara factory. The accused named Giriraj Dixit, who has done Masters in Chemistry, was accused of supplying drugs to smugglers in and around Mumbai.
