Non-Agricultural permission would be made online

Taking a revolutionary and transparent decision, Gujarat Chief
Minister Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani today announced that the procedure for availing Non-
Agricultural (NA) permission is made online from the forthcoming auspicious day of
Labh-Pancham (November 12, 2018) in the state.
This new online NA procedure would be initiated at the office of district collectors in
the entire state from the Labh-Pancham day.
On last Independence Day (August 15, 2018), the Chief Minister had announced to
make the procedure for NA permission online. Following this, the pilot projects for
online NA permission were initiated in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar districts from
the last August 23. Following the success of these pilot projects, in which 1,000-odd
applications were received for online NA permission in last three months, Gujarat
Government has decided to implement it in all the districts of the state.
It is an important step towards fulfilling the dream of ‘Digital India’ envisaged by
Prime Minister Mr. Narendrabhai Modi.

Following are the significant points for the new NA permission procedure:
 For online permission, applicant will have to make an online application at
onlinerevenue@gujarat.gov.in.
 The applicant needs to only upload the application and affidavit through
ONLINE.
 The applicant doesn’t need to submit any evidence such as 7/12, affidavit,
zoning, F-form, and order.
 Application fee (Rs. 0.50 paisa per Sq. Mt.) can be paid through online
payment.
 Only in some special cases opinion would be sought, that too through online
only.
 For the details of the case, online data will be collected from the IRCMS
(Integrated Revenue Case Management System).
 Acceptance of the application, at the time of paying application fees, in the
cases of sanction or rejection will be informed to applicant through SMS and
Email.
 The application will go to just 3 tables. – (ONLINE) – Chitnish – Additional
resident collector – Collector.
 If there is no case and the title is clear then in maximum 10-days the non-
agricultural permission will be given. (Green Channel)
 In the cases in which special opinion was sought, decision will be taken in
maximum 30 days. (Yellow Channel)
 In the cases of government land / involvement of interest of the government /
and in case of multiple procedures, the decision will be taken in maximum 90
days.
 Conversion tax, special Act, local fund, Educational Cess, etc. can be paid
through only online e-payment.
