Jayant Sarkar, director, Indian Meteorological Department, Ahmedabad, said the south-western part of the country, including Gujarat, is likely to receive 96 to 104 percent rainfall this year. The monsoon is likely to arrive in Kerala on June 5, followed by rains in South Gujarat 15 to 20 days later.
