Two crocodiles rescued from Vadodara

Wildlife Rescue Trust rescued two crocodiles from Vadodara city and district. Two crocodiles were caught in two days from Vadodara city and district by the Wildlife Rescue Trust. One crocodile of about three feet was caught from Lakshmipura village, Padra road, Vadodara and one crocodile of three and a half feet was caught from Gujarat Tractor Company late last night.

On 09/07/24, Arvindbhai Pawar, President of Wildlife Rescue Trust, received a call from Gujarat Tractor Company at around 1 am that a crocodile had entered the company. As soon as this call came, the organization’s worker Kiran Sapkal and Vadodara Forest Department officer Nitinbhai Patel arrived and saw a three and a half feet long crocodile inside the compound. They rescued it safely and informed the Vadodara side of the department. Another call was received from Laxmipura. Manishbhai Makwana called and said that a three-foot long crocodile had entered his horse stable. The worker Bhumiben was sent there. He rescued it and handed it over to the department in Vadodara.
