Production of 30 lakh cars at Maruti’s Gujarat plant started in 2017

Gujarat plants account for 50 percent of the company’s total exports.
Last year Suzuki produced and sold 32 lakh cars in the world market.

Maruti’s Gujarat plant: In February 2017, Maruti Suzuki started its Gujarat plant and currently produces a total of 7.5 lakh vehicles annually across three assembly lines. The company completed the milestone of producing a total of 30 lakh cars at its Gujarat plant on December 4. It took the company 45 months for the first million cars, 25 months for the second million cars, and 17 months for the third million cars. This proves that the sales of the company’s cars are increasing rapidly. Company executive officer Rahul Bharti said this.

23 percent of Suzuki Global’s cars are made in Gujarat plant.

India is the biggest market for Japanese company Suzuki. Last year Suzuki produced and sold 32 lakh cars in the world market. Of these, 7.5 lakh i.e. 23.4 percent cars were sold at the Gujarat plant.

Gujarat’s share in Maruti Suzuki’s exports is about 50 percent.

Maruti Suzuki manufactures and exports cars in India. Gujarat plants account for 50 percent of the company’s total exports. Suzuki Baleno, Swift, Dezire, FrontX and Tour SM make five models at the Gujarat plant. The company’s plant is currently running at full capacity and employs 3200 people. Apart from this, the company claimed that 90 units supplying goods to the company are working in Gujarat and another one lakh people are getting employment.
