Digital online grievance redressal failure in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad

The BJP is claiming that the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation administration is redressing people’s complaints digitally online.

Grievance redressal meetings are being organized in 48 wards of the city from August 5 to 14.
On the first day there were complaints of not getting water from Narmada despite the application for two years. The road is broken. Water comes from low pressure. A total of 1861 complaints were received. In which 1523 complaints were resolved. 338 complaints were pending for verification.

The system received 405 property tax complaints and 87 business tax and clerkship complaints.

On the first day a meeting was held at Pandit Deendayal Hall located in Thaltej Ward of North-West Region.

A total of 27 complaints were made to the Engineer Department on behalf of the citizens present in the Ward Sabha organized in Maninagar Ward.

There were complaints about paverblocks, pothole filling, low pressure water, water line leakage, drain checks, manhole repairs, street tape checks.

Those who complained that dustbins were not provided to separate wet and dry waste, were provided with dustbins on the spot. After complaining about non-fogging, fogging was also done in that area.
