20 lakh people fled in Surat, 4 lakh foreign workers in 265 trains

In Surat city, 20 lakh people have left the city in Gujarat. In which 20 lakh people including textile looms, sugarcane farms, housework, industrial laborers, and diamond grinders have left the city due to the failure of the Gujarat government and industrialists after Koro. The city is empty, with 35 percent saying goodbye to the city. Still ready to go in large numbers. They are waiting for buses, trucks and trains.

In 20 days, 4 lakh workers have been repatriated in 265 trains in six states. In the third phase of the lockdown, the train to Odisha started on May 2 to send home millions of workers in Surat city.

32 trains left Surat for Uttar Pradesh, Bihar today. Six states have run for Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. And there are still plans to run until May 31.
