World Book of Records presents certificate to ICDS State Women & Child Welfare Department in presence of Gujarat Chief Minister

World Book of Records presented a certificate to ICDS State Women and Child Welfare Department in presence of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani here today for 5,21,077 girls staging ‘Navdurga Balika Pujan’ during last Navratri at 53,029 anganwadis in all the districts of the State on October 7, 2019.

The feat was arranged under the guidance of Women and Child Welfare Minister Ganpatsinh Vasava and Minister of State Vibhavariben Dave as part of the Chief Minister’s call for women’s empowerment to inculcate a sense of respect among boys from childhood towards women and provide balanced diet to girl child.

All the 5.21-lakh girls were presented nutrition kits during the Pujan, according to the Director of Women and Child Welfare
