But in most of the states, the BJP organization has failed to do so. So far only 83 lakh members have been made. In contrast, it is being claimed that BJP has made 80 lakh members in Gujarat. This is being considered a big lie against the people of the country or a betrayal of the public.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started the membership campaign by becoming the first member of BJP on 2 October 2024, since then people are being made members of BJP by cheating. Till now many BJP leaders have been caught in fraud, but now they are trying the art of cheating to make members. BJP, which has 1.19 crore members, got only 1.88 crore votes in the Lok Sabha elections, in such a situation, the target of making 2 crore members by deceiving people in the Gujarat unit of the world’s largest political party is being achieved.

Large scale fraud first started in 2011 when the membership campaign was started with a missed call on the mobile, even then the opposition had alleged that false missed calls were used to recruit BJP members, but due to lack of evidence no legal action was taken and the matter calmed down.
Earlier political parties used to do politics by walking among the public and connecting with the ideology, but now cases are coming to the fore where the public is seen by the leaders on their mobile phones just to increase the number of strength.
Many scams
No one is responding to their campaign due to the poor performance of the BJP government.’ Therefore, they are lured into becoming members.
A BJP worker known to Pranav Soni, who lives in Navrangpura area of Ahmedabad, asked for OTP. Pranav bhai, being friendly, told the OTP number and within two minutes he switched from Congress to BJP.
Controversies
BJP’s campaign became controversial in Rajkot, Mehsana, Bhavnagar, Surendranagar, Valsad, Vadodara, Ahmedabad.
The principal asked the students of Kavi Dad Government College of Commerce and Industry of Rajkot to bring mobile phones. There is also an allegation of mobilizing students for Tankara MLA Darufa Detharia in the program. Because after becoming a member, it was also repeatedly announced to put the number of the MLA as a referral. In Rajkot city, it was alleged that fraud is being done in making Lagha members without the approval of the big board of BJP.

Municipal servant Yuvrajsinh Gohil forgot to become an active member
Former president of Bhavnagar’s Khadi Committee and now BJP’s municipal servant Yuvraj Gohil used to make relatives of patients members in the hospital.
Students of M.R. Gardi Secondary and Higher Secondary School in Surendranagar’s Anindra were made to join the BJP membership drive by bringing mobile phones. Students were given special instructions to bring mobile phones to school and their parents were made members again and again.
In Mehsana, a patient was lured into becoming a member by registering for X-ray. A patient who went to Visnagar Civil for injection was made a BJP member.
In Bhavnagar, a former officer used to make relatives of patients admitted in the civil hospital members.
A BJP official was publicly announced to give 100 members and Rs. 500 cash carry corruption. The video went viral on social media.
Congress leaders were made BJP members in Dharampur of Valsad. Congress Seva Dal president Ramesh Patel and former executive member Rajesh Patel were made members of the BJP.
A case has come to light in Junagadh district where BJP fraudulently obtained OTP from a farmer who had gone to get ration and made him a member of the BJP.

Membership is done by BJP once every six years. After making 100 people members this year, a party worker becomes an officer seeking ticket as a party candidate for the next general election. Members with less than 100 members cannot claim a ticket to become a party candidate in the election.
