BJP candidate spent Rs. 50 lakh, Congress did not have money

The final expenditure made by national parties and independent candidates during the Lok Sabha elections held in Vadodara was presented before the Election Commission. In which the BJP candidate spent the most.

A total of 14 candidates including BJP and Congress contested from the Vadodara Lok Sabha seat. All the 14 candidates contesting the election have submitted the final election expenditure to the Commission, which revealed that BJP candidate Dr. Hemang Joshi has spent Rs 64 lakh. While presenting these expenses, an amount of Rs 50 lakh has been received from the party.

Independent candidate Parmar Hemant Arvindbhai spent only Rs 13 thousand in the election. Sources said that the rival of the BJP candidate, Congress candidate Padhiyar Jashpal Singh Mahendra Singh has paid a total of Rs. It has been reported that Rs 14 lakh has been spent. It has been stated that the Congress candidate did not receive any funds from the party to contest the elections, but received a fund of Rs 8.51 lakh from donors.
