Pratibha Jain, the corporator from Shahibaug, is the Mayor of Ahmedabad. The promises she made have not been fulfilled. Tax revenue increases by 21 percent every year. She was the chairperson of the Women and Child Development Committee. Jatin Patel is the Deputy Mayor, and Devang Dani is the chairman of the Khadi Committee.
When Pratibha became mayor, she said that her priority would be to make the city green, clean, and healthy. I will always support women. I will stand by them in their troubles. “Together with everyone, development for everyone, trust of everyone,” roads, water, and sewage will be the priorities.
During her tenure, 25,000 women have faced difficulties. (Google translation from Gujarati)
