SP leader Chhotelal Diwakar, 50, and his son were shot dead in the Bahjoi police station area of ​​Sambhal, the SP said on Tuesday.

A road was being constructed under MGNREGA at Shamsoi village in Bahjoi police station area. There was a dispute between Chhotelal Diwakar and Savinder. There was a quarrel between Kahsuni. The deceased were identified as Chhotilal Diwakar, 50, and his son Sunil Kumar, 28.

Former MP Dharmendra Yadav has expressed grief over the incident. He said, “Chhotelal Diwakar was a hardworking leader of our party. He was given a ticket from Chandausi assembly in 2017. But this meeting went to the coalition.

He accused the yogi of the state of being insensitive to the BJP government. “The killing of our leader in Sambal has made it clear that the police are protecting the criminals,” he said. SP workers in the state, especially SP workers, are being openly killed.
