Danger to Nitish in Bihar? BJP members increased

In Bihar, the Janata Dal United (JDU) is leading the government. However, the BJP will soon become the number one party in the MLA council. Opposition party Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) is the largest party in the assembly.

10 members will retire May 23, 2020. After this, BJP will be the largest party in terms of number of members. Here will be even more interesting game. The BJP will enjoy being the number one party for a few days. As soon as the governor appoints new members, the BJP will become number two and the JDU number one.

In the 2014 nomination, all the members were from JDU. But now, all the 12 members of the JDU will not be nominated for the Bihar Legislative Council this time. BJP and LJP members can also be appointed from these. However, it has not been decided yet which party will have how many members.

Retiring members of the Legislative Council include Javed Iqbal Ansari, Lallan Kumar Saraf, Ranveer Nandan, Ram Lakhan Ram Raman, Rana Gangeshwar Singh, Vijaykumar Mishra, Shiv Prasanna Yadav, Sanjay Kumar Singh, Rambhas Rai and Ramchandra Bharti.

Elections for nine seats of the Legislative Council are pending from the Assembly quota. Out of which three will go to JDU, two to BJP, three to RJD and one to Congress.
