Denmark to send All Party Delegation to Gujarat’s Vibrant Summit-2021

Denmark Parliament’s Foreign Policy Committee meets Chief Minister, keen to co-operate with Gujarat in green energy, dairy, agriculture

Gandhinagar, Wednesday: A six-member delegation of Denmark Parliamentary Foreign Policy Committee, led by Mr. Martin Lidegaard, called on Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani here today.

Impressed by Gujarat’s all round development, the delegation evinced keen interest in green energy, dairy and agriculture sectors. In addition, they discussed in detail the scope of bilateral trade and investment, and Gujarat Government’s policy in industrial economy, renewable energy and other sectors.

Mr. Lidegaard sai will participate in the Gujarat’s biennial flagship event Vibrant Summit-2021 with multi-party delegation.

Mr. Rupani apprised the delegation with Gujarat Government’s incentive policies for greater share of non-conventional sources of energy like wind, solar and hybrid energy policies for domestic and industrial purposes, subsidy scheme for use of 100 per cent solar energy in MSME sectors, self-reliance in water management. He also explained Gujarat’s initiative and edge in natural farming, high-speed rail, BRTS, electric vehicles and dedicated rail freight corridor.

Those present during the meeting included Chief Minister’s Chief Principal Secretary Kailashnathan, Principal Secretary M.K. Das, Industries Commissioner Rahul Gupta and iNDEXTb Managing Director Neelam Rani.
