A good solution for dogs is to catch the biting dog and leave it in the forest where leopards live. So that the prey of dairy animals can be saved and food can also be provided to the dogs.

Failed system

A total of 8,94,679 incidents of dog bites have occurred in Gujarat in the three years from the year 2022 to 2024 and in the month of January of the year 2025. Sarpanchs in villages and mayors in cities are also unable to provide relief from problems like dog bites. Such is the situation that a person walking on the road or a driver has to live in fear of being harassed by dogs.

Lok Sabha
The figures presented in response to a question in the Lok Sabha are shocking, as the number of dog bite incidents is increasing every year. On an average, 1,800 people are bitten by dogs every day in Gujarat. This makes it clear how troublesome it would be to catch or sterilize dogs in metropolitan cities. The figures also show that dog bites are more common in Gujarat except for a few states.
