Financial condition worsened, students started getting education in govt schools of Surat

Students are increasing in Municipal Primary Education Committee schools run by Surat Municipal Corporation. The number of admissions is increasing continuously from private schools to council schools. In the last 5 years, 48778 students have enrolled in private schools in Education Committee schools.

The number of students leaving private schools and taking admission in Municipal Corporation schools is continuously increasing. The number of students of the committee has increased to 1.90 lakh.

During the Corona period, the highest number of 13 thousand 673 children left private schools and took admission in Municipal Corporation School. Due to the closure of many people’s businesses during the Corona period, many parents got their children admitted from private schools to Municipal Corporation schools, as they were not able to pay the fees.

Due to the ever-increasing population, education is becoming expensive and poverty is the main reason for this.

Due to rising inflation and education being very expensive in private schools, the inclination of the middle class towards private schools is also decreasing. The number of students is continuously increasing amidst the shortage of teachers in schools.

Education is given on interactive (smart board). Due to the board, the interest of students towards education has increased and teachers are giving better education with less effort. Students are taught through audio video of various experiments, examples and stories. With this type of method, students do not get bored in studying and they absorb education quickly due to seeing the information with interest. Due to the board being connected to the internet, modern information is being made available to the students and students are also learning fast. Revision has become very easy and effective. Pictures and videos can be shown directly from the net for reference.

Teachers are using interactive boards. Currently, study is being done by showing the information of unit test question paper and its answer on audio visual interactive board. Preparation for the exam should be done manually.

The chairman of the education committee is saying that the number of students is increasing due to the facilities like private schools being available in schools without fees.
