Matruvans have been established in 5500 villages in Gujarat under the 75th Van Mahotsav in 2024. A total of 10 thousand saplings have been planted at a distance of 1X1 meter using the Miyawaki method and 122 forest covers have been prepared in an area of ​​200 hectares in the year 2024-25.

During the year 2025-26, cities and villages together will prepare Matruvan-forests in a total area of ​​425 hectares.

On World Environment Day on June 5, 2025, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation will prepare Sindoor Forest under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.

An oxygen park of 12 thousand trees with 551 vermillion trees will be built in a plot of 5 thousand square meters near Jagatpur Bridge in Chandlodia area.
