Look at the account of Modi’s bus usage over 25 years, in Guj

Prime Minister, stop stealing citizens’ buses.

In this age of social media and media, stop the politics of the Legislative Assembly.

One thousand buses are stopped at a single meeting of the Prime Minister, and the public is held hostage.

An annual government meeting. Politics worth 18 thousand crore rupees, burden on the shoulders of citizens.

Ahmedabad, September 19, 2025
The Prime Minister is coming to Jawahar Chowk in Bhavnagar for a meeting. Schemes worth 1 lakh 34 thousand crore rupees are to be announced. People do not attend Modi’s meetings, so public buses are used to bring them. On average, 50 to 70 thousand people are brought to a meeting by bus as free passengers.

In one year, 34 thousand 614 buses were used for the public events of the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister. The state government contributed a total of 1 lakh 34 thousand crore rupees. 56 crore 1 lakh 22 thousand 120 rupees were outstanding. 53 crore 81 lakh 21 thousand 895 rupees were outstanding. These details were given to the MLA in the Gujarat Legislative Assembly on March 17, 2023.

50 crore rupees were spent on purchasing 150 buses. The Gujarat State Transport Corporation has 8500 buses, including 350 sleeper coaches, 1300 semi-luxury buses, 6200 super deluxe buses, and 1303 mini buses. Every year, 1000 buses are scrapped and 1000 buses are put up for sale.

The BJP government uses an average of 1,000 buses for its meetings every 15 days.

The government spends 32,000 rupees on renting a bus for its meetings, which is paid for from citizens’ taxes.

When Modi was Chief Minister of Gujarat for the past 13 years, he used 25,000 buses annually for his rallies. After becoming Prime Minister, he has been using 25,000 Gujarat buses annually for 11 years. Thus, over the past 25 years, Narendra Modi has used 625,000 state transport buses for his personal use. It can be estimated that a similar number of municipal and private buses are also being used.

Thus, by running 1.2 million buses over 25 years, Modi has artificially attempted to demonstrate his popularity by drawing crowds to his rallies.

The messages he wants to convey can be delivered through the very cheap social media and media. Despite this, he has been holding a rally in Gujarat every 15 days on average.

Crowd Size

A bus carries 60 passengers. An average of 1,200 buses are used for a rally.

This translates to a crowd of 70,000 to 72,000 people. The BJP uses 600,000 buses a year. Gathering 36 million people, or half the population of Gujarat, by bus is used to create artificial popularity.

Just as votes are stolen, crowds are also being stolen by stealing buses.

Expenditure
Assuming the fare per ST bus is ₹30,000, based on the Assembly’s data, the fare for 625,000 buses can be estimated at ₹1,800 crore. This expenditure is borne by citizens’ money. Every year, 36 million people are transported to rallies. If their working hours are calculated in a day, people are losing 600 million man-hours per year listening to Modi. The BJP and the government spend an average of ₹1,000 per person, totaling ₹3,600 crore annually. If people’s incomes are taken into account, another ₹3,600 crore can be added. Thus, the citizens of Gujarat spend ₹9,000 crore on Modi’s rallies. Furthermore, the security of the Prime Minister and Chief Minister, aircraft, helicopters, staff, security, government machinery, government officials, Anganwadi workers, Sakhi Mandals, and BJP workers can also be considered the same.

Thus, it can be estimated that ₹18,000 crore is spent annually on Narendra Modi’s political rallies. Thus, Prime Minister Modi is plundering the treasury of the citizens of Gujarat.

There are 40,000 drivers and employees in the state.

Bad Effects
2.8 million passengers travel daily on 8,550 buses in the state. Each bus carries 327 passengers daily. If an average of 1,000 buses are used during a rally, 327,000 passengers face travel difficulties. They have to find alternative travel options or divert their journeys.

One bus affects approximately two routes. If one bus is removed, two routes in the city are affected. Passengers from 22 villages in the rural areas are adversely affected.

Buses booked for weddings, social, and religious events are cancelled.
Before elections, public money has been used for public campaigning for years. The practice of making huge profits from government programs and ruining human hospitality is the most common abuse.
Many routes are cancelled. Passengers traveling by bus to attend the Prime Minister’s events are inconvenienced. People are unable to reach their destinations on time. Students’ studies are disrupted, waiting for buses for hours. Buses overcrowd their bus stands, braving the sun, causing traffic jams. This wastes millions of human hours.
Everyone, including senior citizens, women, and children, faces difficulties. The Gujarat ST Passenger Rights Committee believes that over 50,000 buses have been abandoned in the past five years.

More ST buses have been cancelled. Buses were allocated for such events. It was claimed that 500 crore rupees were wasted.
Private vehicles should be used for leaders’ meetings, not government vehicles.
The police arrest those who oppose Modi’s expensive meetings.

Even when Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujarat, he held public meetings under the guise of government programs and dispersed people by hiring ST buses at government expense. Complaints have been received that Talati ministers, teachers, Sakhi Mandals, assistants, corporation employees, and dairy members are misusing government machinery by sending them from village to village in ST buses.

This practice has been ongoing for the past two and a half decades.

When US President Donald Trump visited Ahmedabad, buses were misused to gather a large number of people at the stadium. 2,000 ST Corporation buses transported people for free. 800 buses were ordered from the Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar divisions and 1,200 from other divisions. The State Transport Corporation had 7,000 buses. Of these, 2,000 buses were reserved for Modi and Trump’s political rallies. The same number of buses were reserved for Ahmedabad city buses. If the metro train had started, they would have allowed free travel. (Google translation from Gujarati from this website)
