Pariksha Pe Charcha is a program of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is being organized by the government every year since 2018 before the board examinations. The 8th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha was held at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi.

The Ministry of Education told the Lok Sabha that a total of Rs 1.5 crore was spent on this program. Rs 64.38 crore has been spent on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Pariksha Pe Charcha program from the year 2020 to 2024. There has been a significant change in the expenditure on this program in the last five years. Very little was spent on this program in 2020. The Ministry of Education then spent Rs 5.69 crore. In the year 2021, the expenditure increased marginally to Rs 6 crore. However, there was a significant increase in the expenditure on the Pariksha Pe Charcha program in the year 2022. The total expenditure that year was Rs 8.16 crore, but in 2023 the increase in this expenditure was much more, which is the highest expenditure till date. In 2023, Rs 27.70 crore was spent on this program. In 2024, the expenditure decreased to Rs 16.83 crore.
