Since people were financially ruined in Corona, the government made a self-reliant India scheme and kept a package of Rs 20 lakh crore. Out of which Gujarat was to get 1.50 lakh crore. This scheme was supposed to provide assistance. Out of 20 lakh crores, PM Svanidhi Yojana 2022 of Rs 5 thousand crores is also a part of it. In this scheme, an assistance of Rs 500 crore has to be given to Gujarat. 263 crore loan has been given so far. This also benefited the city’s Hindu street vendors. It has come out in an RTI that Muslims are not given.
10,000 rupees are given by the government to people to start employment in rural and urban railways – selling roadside goods or selling fruits and vegetables, street vendors, ferias, cobblers, barbers, etc. Everyone had to give. A plan was made to help with the stalled works in Corona. But in Gujarat the government does not give such loans in village fairs. Thus the scheme is biased.
In Gujarat, 2 lakh 35 thousand street vendors have been given assistance of Rs 263 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Svanidhi Yojana. Out of 2.64 lakh sanctioned so far in the state, 67 thousand people have returned the loan.
The festival has been promoted with names like “Svanidhi Se Samridhi Tak”, a loan fair for Feria and his family, which is being financed by the BJP itself. On one side of the road there is a street fair or lari-galla where there are vendors selling paan galla, vegetables, fruits, tea-dumplings, bread, eggs, clothes, books, stationery. Commercial banks, rural banks, small finance banks, co-operative banks, non-banking finance companies, SHG banks provide loans under the scheme.
7 percent interest subsidy is given at the time of repayment of loan. Loans are provided without collateral and at nominal interest. 24 per cent annual interest on Rs. 10,000 interest subsidy is effectively 30 percent of the total interest. Those who do not have an identity card and a sale certificate can also take a loan. I. It is returned in installments. 10,000 for the first time, 20,000 for the second time and 50,000 for the third time.
Loan was to be given to 50 lakh fair-street vendors in the country. In which loan was to be given to 5 lakh fairs in Gujarat. But 20 lakh 35 thousand i.e. only half the people have been given. indicating the failure of the plan. It was to be implemented by March 2022, now it has been decided to continue till the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The scheme was announced on 1st June 2020.
This was for the affected fairs of the Corona scheme. Now it has become political. But his political programs for distribution in Gujarat continued till July. It is alleged that this loan was not given to Muslim farmers. About 50 percent of the people do their business in the cities of the country. 30% of Hindus are self-employed in cities.
During Svanidhi Utsav, 6 lakh 10 thousand loan-finance checks were distributed in 26 street fairs in Gandhinagar.
Cashback up to Rs 1200 per month is available on digital transactions loan repayment, 30 lakhs has been reimbursed so far.
In 2022, Vadodara Municipal Corporation has so far given a loan of Rs 10 thousand to 27 thousand beneficiaries and Rs 20 thousand to 5 thousand beneficiaries. 22 thousand digital transactions have been done. Out of which 6722 are women.
In Gujarat, scams worth crores of rupees have come to the fore in PM Kisan Sahayata Yojana.
A budget of 5000 crores has been made by the central government for this scheme. 34 nodal officers have been appointed in the country.
Till March 2022, 31 lakh people had applied in the country. The government wanted to give 50 lakhs or more to the people. But Modi’s plan has been rejected by 50 percent of the fairs. Out of 31 lakh pherias, only 17 lakh were allowed. 1.50 lakh gave loan to 12 lakh from the bank branch. In which Rs 1500 crore was to be given but Rs 990 crore was given. The payment digitally was only 10 lakh pherias. In which only 56 thousand rupees were refunded to those doing digital transactions. Not even a single rupee of interest subsidy was given.

In two years from June 2022, a loan of about Rs 3600 crore has been given to street vendors. Madhya Pradesh is first in the country by providing 118 percent more loan than the target. More loans were sanctioned in Telangana and Uttar Pradesh.
Street vendors are an essential part of the economic development of the country. In two years, 53.7 lakh applications were received under this scheme.
Out of which loans have been sanctioned to 36.6 lakh farmers. Loans have been given to 33.2 lakh people. Cultural festival ‘Svanidhi Mahotsav’ was organized from 9th to 31st July in 75 cities of the country.
30.4 lakh people have taken a loan of ten thousand. 3.1 lakh people have taken 20 thousand. 55 thousand people have taken the third loan of 50 thousand. 12 lakh people have paid their first loan.
