-Women workers of Bhavnagar participated in the conference organized in Gandhinagar: petition given once again
Bhavnagar: Anganwadi workers of Bhavnagar city and district joined the protest meeting in Gandhinagar today on Monday. The outstanding question sparked protests against the government. In this regard, a complaint letter was given demanding solution to the problem.
CITU Integrated Gujarat Anganwadi Personnel Association and Gujarat ASHA Health Works Union will create minimum wage of Anganwadi and ASHA workers and facilitator sisters, fix wages, provide new mobile phones for digital operations, promote Anganwadi workers and ASHA workers, provide for superannuation. Age limit will be 60 years, sick leave and incentive and increase in bill amount date. To pay in 1 to 10, P.O. Thousands of sisters from all over Gujarat, including Bhavnagar, gathered in Gandhinagar on Monday as none of the demands of the long-running movement regarding implementation of fund and pension scheme were resolved. A new program was organized and the demands were accepted. It is known that sisters from Bhavnagar city and district are participating in the Aakrosh conference.
The government talks about women empowerment and women worship, but after 2018, the central government does not increase the salaries of these sisters and then when elections come, the Gujarat government does not even get time to hold a meeting for these thousands of sisters. Gujarat government claims to be number one by not paying minimum wages but the government has become number one in exploiting women. An application was given to solve the problem.
