Leaders are lobbying Amit Shah in Delhi to get a post in Rajkot district of Gujarat.
MP Ram Mokaria, whose name was struck off from the invitation list by municipal corporation officials, leading to a controversy, also met the Home Minister. Along with this, former MLA Govind Patel, who was sidelined after not getting a ticket in the last assembly elections, also met. Earlier, Jayesh Radadiya, who won in the government sector by trusting the state BJP leadership and did not get a ministerial post in the current term, also met the Home Minister.
