Vehicles will be detained, don’t drive without a reason: Police Chief Shivanand Jha

Gujarat State Police Chief Sivananda Jah has said that there will be no unnecessary movement of people while the police are taking action to enforce lockdowns across the state and maintain social distance. Unnecessary moving vehicles will be detained as a violation of the lockdown so citizens should not travel without a reason. Only private vehicles are allowed to carry essential items during the lockdown. These vehicles will be confiscated if found moving. For strict enforcement of lockdown The content area is being monitored with special vigilance. If there is a case of crowding of citizens in public places and social distance is not maintained, the citizens should show awareness on 100 number or report to the police control room. If the police get information about such details, the police will take appropriate action to stop it.
