ગુજરાત હાઇકોર્ટે પાક વીમાના વળતર મુદ્દે સરકારની સમિતિ દ્વારા તૈયાર કરાયેલા રિપોર્ટને નકારી કાઢ્યો છે. સરકારે ખેડૂતોની રજૂઆતો સાંભળી જ ન હતી. રાજ્યમાં વર્ષ 2017-2018 માં ભારે વરસાદના લીધે ખેડૂતોના પાકને ભારે નુકસાન થયું હતું.
રાજ્ય સરકાર દ્વારા ખેડૂતોને પાક વીમા યોજના અંતર્ગત વળતર આપવા માટે સર્વે કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો. પ્રધાનમંત્રી ફસલ બીમા યોજના અંતગર્ત લાયકાત ધરાવતા ખેડૂતોને વળતર આપવા માટે સરકાર દ્વારા નિમાયેલી સમિતિએ યોગ્ય સર્વે ન કર્યો હોવાનું હાઇકોર્ટે અવલોકન કર્યું છે. ખેડૂતોની રજૂઆત સાંભળ્યા વિના જ સરકારની સમિતિએ રિપોર્ટ તૈયાર કર્યો હોવાની હાઈકોર્ટે ટિપ્પણી કરી હતી.
ગુજરાત હાઇકોર્ટ દ્વારા સરકારના આ રિપોર્ટને નકારી કાઢવામાં આવ્યો હતો. હાઈકોર્ટ સમક્ષ અરજી કરનાર અરજદારોના ક્લેમ બાબતે પણ કમિટીએ સુનાવણીની તક નહીં આપી હોવાનું હાઈકોર્ટે નોંધ્યું છે. આ ઉપરાંત બે અઠવાડિયામાં નવેસરથી રિપોર્ટ કોર્ટમાં રજૂ કરવાનો પણ આદેશ કર્યો છે. આ અંગે આગામી સુનાવણી 26 જુલાઇએ હાથ ધરાશે.[:en]Important news on the issue of compensation for crop insurance of farmers, High Court rejected the survey report of the government

The High Court remarked that the government committee prepared the report without hearing the arguments of the farmers.
This report of the government was rejected by the Gujarat High Court. The High Court has said that the committee did not give an opportunity to hear the claims of the applicants who applied to the High Court. Apart from this, it has also ordered to submit a new report to the court within two weeks. गुजरात उच्च न्यायालय ने फसल बीमा के मुआवज़े के मुद्दे पर सरकारी समिति द्वारा तैयार की गई रिपोर्ट को खारिज कर दिया है। सरकार ने किसानों की दलीलें नहीं सुनीं। राज्य में वर्ष 2017-2018 में भारी बारिश के कारण किसानों की फसलों को भारी नुकसान हुआ था।
राज्य सरकार द्वारा फसल बीमा योजना के तहत किसानों को मुआवज़ा देने के लिए एक सर्वेक्षण कराया गया था। उच्च न्यायालय ने पाया है कि प्रधानमंत्री फसल बीमा योजना के पात्र किसानों को मुआवज़ा देने के लिए सरकार द्वारा नियुक्त समिति ने उचित सर्वेक्षण नहीं किया। उच्च न्यायालय ने टिप्पणी की कि सरकारी समिति ने किसानों की दलीलें सुने बिना ही रिपोर्ट तैयार कर ली।
सरकार की इस रिपोर्ट को गुजरात उच्च न्यायालय ने खारिज कर दिया। उच्च न्यायालय ने कहा है कि समिति ने उच्च न्यायालय में आवेदन करने वाले आवेदकों के दावों को सुनने का अवसर नहीं दिया। इसके अलावा, उसने दो सप्ताह के भीतर अदालत में एक नई रिपोर्ट पेश करने का भी आदेश दिया है। इस संबंध में अगली सुनवाई 26 जुलाई को होगी।[:]
