Before the public hearing, a meeting was held in the yard to protest; other local people held a meeting at night in support of the company.

Rajula: People of some organizations have protested and said that there is a fear of harm to the local people including the environment due to the copper company coming near Lothpur village between Rajula-Jaffrabad. However, other locals held a night meeting in support of the company. In such a situation, tomorrow is the date. A public hearing will be held near Lothpur village on 13th.
A meeting was organized by Rajula Kopar Khatpo Samiti, a group of environment lovers including farmers. In which resentment was expressed against the company and in the form of a rally, a memorandum was given to the provincial official along with an appeal letter along with a poster. In which farmer leaders of Mahuva taluk Bharatsingh Vala, Zaidibhai Dhakhra, Bharatiya Kisan Union President Vikrambhai Dhakhra, Chetanbhai Vyas,

Environment lover Vipul Laheri, environment lover Manishbhai Goswami, Jorubhai Dhakhra, Yusubbhai Darban, Dhirubhai Dhakhra, Amrubhai Dhakhra, Chetanbhai Vyas, Chandubhai Patel were present.

Meanwhile, near Kagawadar village in Jaffrabad taluk, farmers and locals met late at night to welcome the company by raising slogans against the protesters. In which District Panchayat member and District Executive President Karshanbhai Bhil, Kagwadar former Sarpanch Mahipatbhai Varu, Uncheya Sarpanch Pratapbhai Bepariya, Taluka Panchayat member Shivrajbhai Kotila, Executive President Anirudhbhai Vala, Lothpur Sarpanch Ranabhai Makwana, Kisan Morcha leader Kanubhai Varu, farmer leader Dilu Neta along with others. Brother Varu was present and made a written representation to the provincial officer. A written representation has been given to the provincial authority to make adequate police arrangements, to ensure that local positive people get information and to maintain law and order situation.
