Saffron mango arrives at Junagadh Marketing Yard amid Corona epidemic and lockdown

Saffron mangoes have arrived in Junagadh marketing yard due to the corona epidemic and lock down. With the commencement of transport of essential commodities in Junagadh district, saffron mangoes from Talala and Gir areas are coming to the box marketing yard.

The trader said that 170 boxes had come for sale on the first day. Due to the lockdown, only traders from Junagadh were able to participate in the auction.

Prices were also lower on the first day. Ten kg saffron mango was priced between Rs 700 and Rs 800. Mango growers say box revenue will increase from next week
