Vadodara: BJP corporator from Manjalpur area Kalpesh Manubhai Patel alias Jai Ranchhod has been taken over by Union Bank of India. Kalpesh Patel took this action today after the bank issued a notice for not repaying the loan of Rs 1.78 crore taken from the bank.

The Alkapuri branch of Union Bank of India has today taken possession of Kalpesh Patel’s bungalow ‘Haridarshan’ in Manjalpur area, Purushottam Nagar Society and a shop in Kashman Heights Building in Manjalpur and directed that no action should be taken against this property. Will not do any kind of transaction. ,

According to the notice issued by Union Bank, a notice was issued to Kalpesh Patel under the Securitization and Reconstruction of Enforcement of Security Interest Act 2002 for the loan outstanding on December 11, 2023, and directed to deposit the money with interest within 60 days. Was. .1.78 crore. However, due to Kalpesh Patel not depositing the money, today the bank has taken possession of the two-storey bungalow built on 497.38 square meter land in Purushottam Nagar and the shop in Heights Building in Kash.
