To win Lok Sabha seats in Gujarat, Arvind Kejriwal will have to improve the conduct and organization of party leaders, there are as many divisions in the Aam Aadmi Party as there are leaders.

It is raising a question whether the Aam Aadmi Party, which secured 42 lakh votes in the 2022 Gujarat Assembly elections, will get the same number of votes in the Lok Sabha elections or not. There are so many differences among winning leaders. A total of 1,621 candidates from 70 political parties contested the first and second phases of the assembly elections. In which some candidates of Aam Aadmi Party withdrew their candidature. The dispute is going on since then. The controversy has deepened further after the removal of the party president.
First of all, big controversies started after the announcement of the name of Ishudan Gadhvi as the Chief Minister of Gujarat. One of them was Indranil Rajguru. He left the party and joined Congress. Such controversies continue even today. This issue is also going to be there in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Because in the Constitution of India, no party has the right to decide the Chief Minister. It is the right of elected MLAs to take decisions. The people of Gujarat have proved the same thing.
Party president Gopal Italia was expelled after the assembly elections. On the orders of Delhi, he was removed from the post of state president and the defeated candidate Ishudan Gadhvi was appointed to the post of president. Gopal has been thrown out of Gujarat, thrown into Maharashtra. Since then they are troubled. There are more divisions in the Aam Aadmi Party than the BJP and Congress. There are divisions, in party, like hairs on the head. Not so much in Congress also. If the Aam Aadmi Party wants to survive in Gujarat, it will have to work democratically. The difference between Congress and AAP side should be there only. But, remove the party president whenever you want and appoint whenever you want, this has been going on for 13 years in state. Ex precedent Sukdev Patel and Kanu Kalsaria is a great examples.
Party president Ishudan Gadhvi is still living the dream of becoming the Chief Minister. They don’t even pick up the calls of the workers. His personal assistant receives 500 calls a day. Many times the assistants don’t even pick up the phone. People are angry with Gadhvi, hence the process of resignation has started. Everyone is going towards Congress. Now many people are about to resign. The pace of resignations is sure to increase as the Lok Sabha elections approach.
Aam Aadmi Party is demanding answers and accountability from Ishudan. That’s why Gadhvi has opened appointments shops as posts across the state. 500 to 600 posts are being offered daily. One who asks for a post is given one. People who have been working for the party for years are being washed away like the water of Sabarmati river.
There is every possibility that the big program of Aam Aadmi Paksha will be held on 16 September 2023. There can be a meeting of 2 lakh workers. For this reason, recruitment is being done. Now appointments will be made at 52 thousand booths.
More than 500 people are preparing to resign. Those who got more than 40 thousand votes in the assembly elections are also now preparing to leave the party. Because of Isudan. Because Ishudan’s mind and heart are full of ego. They are running the party like they are running a TV show. Even after bringing the Chief Minister’s face in front, his intoxication is not subsiding. This addiction will sink the party till the Lok Sabha elections.
The people of Gujarat want Aam Aadmi Party and not Congress but Isudan Gadhvi does not want this.
Work like selling tickets in the Assembly will now be done in the Lok Sabha elections also.
There is no leadership in the party but dominance. It seems that Arvind Kejriwal is no longer interested in Gujarat. Otherwise, don’t run it at all. Delhi does not know, it is not so, people have gone to Delhi and complained.
There could have been 50 seats in the 2022 assembly elections, but there was satisfaction on 6 seats. People like Shekhchalli are dreaming of winning 13 seats in the Lok Sabha. Those who have not been able to win themselves.
Ishudan Gadhvi had just given a premature political statement that the Lok Sabha elections in Gujarat would be fought in alliance with the Congress. Then Gujarat Congress had rejected it. Aam Aadmi Party along with Congress had asked for 40 percent tickets. Now Aam Aadmi Party is trying to demand 50 percent seats in Lok Sabha from Congress? This is how politics is done?
When there was defeat in the assembly, four leaders reviewed together. The state level executive has not been called. If the reason for the defeat was known, the defeated leader would not have been made the party president. All the people who were 10-12 years old are angry. A Gandhian like Kishore Desai and a leader who contributed his pension and PF money to the Aam Aadmi Party finally had to resign after getting fed up. He was often insulted. Earlier, 5 presidents of Aam Aadmi Party were insulted and expelled. Same thing happened with Kishore Kaka and Gopal Italia.
Gadhvi and four other leaders along with him are working like the owners of the party. Not listening to anyone. The thought of not talking to anyone has been ingrained in the minds of the leaders.
The people of Gujarat are now fed up with BJP and Congress. The people of Gujarat want to send non-BJP MPs to the Lok Sabha. But Aam Aadmi Party is not ready to understand this.
Gujarat in-charge Gulab Singh, Manoj Panara, Sandeep Pathak, Gopal Italia and Gadhvi have a dirty role in partisanship.
In which Rambhai Dhaduk, Ajit Lokhil, Nimishaben Khunt, Hasmukhbhai Patel, Ramesh Nabhani are not treated well, they are harassed. Front officials are not happy. Everyone is waiting for the chance. Most people are ready to leave the party.
Chief Minister Manoj Shorethia himself keeps insulting the workers. Says indecent things and insults. They threaten the worker as if he is an employee. Treats workmen as if they were salaried employees. General Secretary is doing this, then from whom should the workers put their hopes. Organizations don’t work like that. The workers are honest. There were also people who gave their own money to the party. They are tired now. In the assembly elections, the party did not give even a single rupee to the workers. The workers have spent their capital to keep the party alive.
If Kejriwal does not elect the state president as soon as possible, then the difficulties of the party will increase in the Lok Sabha elections. There has never been an appointment of office bearers or election of party president in Aam Aadmi Party. Anti-democratic actions take place.
The people of Gujarat want Aam Aadmi Party. They want to remove BJP and Congress. Aam Aadmi Party leaders are not ready to grab this opportunity. They are full of selfishness and ego.
7 working presidents have been made. Some of these presidents are associated with leaders of other parties. After losing the election, they was made co-in-charge of the party’s states. Some of them maintain smooth relations with other parties also. All these are sinking the party.
Gopal Italia is angry with, Manoj Panara and Ishudan after being removed from the post of president. The party is in danger. Many municipal corporators of Surat are upset. They remain with the party out of shame. Ishudan Gadhvi does not pick up the calls of District Presidents. Then no hope, pick up the calls of common people. Then how will the organization run? Arvind Kejriwal deserves to think on this matter.
North Gujarat’s strong leader Bhemabhai Chowdhary has resigned and left the party because of Isudan. Two dozen more such office bearers have left the party.
Arvind Kejriwal will have to come to Gujarat and fix the party. Even though Kejriwal did not come to Gujarat after the assembly elections, but now the time has come that if BJP has to be defeated and Congress has to be removed, then Kejriwal will have to come to Gujarat. The organization cannot run sitting in Delhi. Will have to come to the land of Gujarat. Otherwise defeat is certain.
