Thus it can be seen that 11 lakh hectares of land has been lost in 16 years in the construction of industries, roads and houses. Looking at the way the desert of Kutch is being given, 16 lakh hectares of land will go to the industry. Thus every year 1 lakh hectare (2.48 lakh acres) of land is going to the industries. Every year 1 lakh hectare of land is going to the scope of industry or companies. Thus 1 thousand square kilometers of land has gone to the industrialists. 10 hectares is 1 lakh square meters of land. (Translation from Gujarati by Google)
