Following the increasing prevalence of Corona virus Covid-19 in the Ahmedabad metropolis, the government finalized the plan in a high-level video conference to carry out health check-ups, including health surveillance and testing surveillance in 10 wards of the containment zone to control the infection.
Intensive health campaigns will be launched at 160 places in 6 Central Zone, 2 South Zone, 1 East Zone and 1 M10 wards of North Zone by forming teams with 40 mobile medical vans – Dhanwantari Rath. Going to the containment zone will provide home-based health care to the citizens. It will also treat people with common ailments. Aggression will come in the testing-health check of corona suspects.
Medication will be given to people with common cold and fever symptoms, with a focus on testing people with comorbidities and high risk.
The mobile medical van with a team of allopathic doctors, an AYUSH doctor, lab technicians, pharmacists and paramedical staff in the team will be at 4 location points daily for 15 consecutive days for 2 hours each day. They may be aware of patient follow-up in the location area from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and may be helpful in further treatment as needed.
Immunity boost-up homeopathic medicines-Ayurvedic medicines will also be distributed among the citizens.
To make Coronamukt Ahmedabad a Coronamukt Ahmedabad, the corporators, local leaders as well as service-oriented voluntary organizations of the area to complete the Coronamukt Ward with the resolution of “My Ward Coronamukt Ward” to provide medical examination to the people of that zone Will take.

Deputy Mayor, Chairman of the Standing Committee, Leader of the ruling party as well as Additional Chief Secretary specially appointed for the control operation of Koro in Ahmedabad city. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani urged Rajiv Kumar Gupta, Municipal Commissioner Mukesh Kumar and all Deputy Municipal Commissioners, Zonal Health Officers to actively move towards ‘Containment Free Zone-Coronamukt Ward’ by organizing extensive video conferencing.
