Ahmedabad, June 19, 2025
The world heroes who crashed in Meghaninagar, Ahmedabad are those who filmed the plane crash on their mobile phones. There are many citizens of Meghaninagar who rushed first to save people, whom the government will never accept. Will not honor them. There are 5 real heroes. Many information has come to light about who and why it happened. The only surviving tourist is the hero. The teenager who filmed and documented the video has become a world hero.
108 Inspector Satinder Singh Sandhu
Satinder Singh Sandhu was the first person to report the plane crash and reach to rescue people.
Sandhu has become a hero today.
Satinder Singh Sandhu’s family lives in his village in Punjab. He lives alone in Ahmedabad. He was in ninth grade in 1992, since then he has been living in Ahmedabad. In college, he was in NCC. His father was also in the army, so he is already involved in helping and rescue. He was in the rescue team when Mansi Tower collapsed in Vastrapur, Ahmedabad in the 2001 earthquake. After that, he has worked continuously in Covid in 2020. His family takes great pride in helping people in disaster. Near the spot, in the Civil Hospital premises, near Gate No. 8 of the 1200-bed hospital is Satinder Singh Sandhu’s office, which is his duty place. Satinder Singh Sandhu has been working in the 108 emergency service for 10 years. Satinder Singh manages 20 of the 120 ambulances in the city. He was eating near Dagwaja No. 8 of the Civil Hospital. If the plane had come a little further, he might not have been here today. 108 Inspector Satinder Singh Sandhu says, ‘I had just put a can of coke in my mouth when the blast happened, the resident doctors all reached the hostel with 108 ambulances. It was 1:40 pm. I saw smoke rising towards the hospital mess. Thinking that something big has happened, I immediately asked all the ambulances present in the hospital to reach the direction where the smoke was visible. On the way I called our program manager Jitendra Shahi that something big has happened, maybe it was a plane crash. I immediately informed the control room to send ambulances and doctors. Help arrived in just three minutes for rescue.
When the explosion happened, I thought maybe there was an accident or the gas caught fire. So I started running in the direction from where the smoke was visible. Seeing the fire, I felt that the incident was very big, so I informed the headquarters. You immediately inform the fire department and send more ambulances.
I reached the spot in just two to three minutes. The fire was very fierce. Nothing was visible. People were running here and there. A security guard came out of the door with injuries on his face and hands and legs. I took him to our 108 ambulance.
The fire was so fierce that it was not possible to go inside. Local people were also killed. The surrounding buildings were on fire. A woman was running, she ran to save her child, but she could not save him. We saw. That woman was also burnt. She was taken in an ambulance from the Civil Hospital.
There were corpses lying on the ground, on the ground, on the road. The wreckage of the plane was burning. Also, there were corpses and injured people everywhere in the hostel. 20 injured people were taken to the hospital by 108 that day. They were at the scene till 3 am that day and were involved in the rescue operation.
When I first saw, I did not know what had happened. Some people were saying that the plane had crashed, but the smoke from the fire was so thick that nothing was visible. When the fire brigade started controlling the fire, some broken pieces of the plane started falling on my feet. Then I came to know that the plane had crashed.
Came out alive
About two minutes later I saw a young man who was going in and out, we shouted at him not to go inside. He had injuries on his face and burnt hands. He was taken to the civil hospital in an ambulance. However, after 9 pm we came to know that the person we rescued and took to the hospital was named Vishwaskumar Ramesh. After that the family of a doctor came out, whom our team had brought to the civil hospital.
After he came out, Satinder Singh caught him and took him to the ambulance. When we rescued him we did not know that he was a passenger of the plane and a survivor. He had injuries on his face and burnt hands too.
He seemed upset. Sometimes he would go inside, sometimes he would come out. When I spoke to him, he kept saying that my family members are inside, I have to save them. Everyone else is burnt.
He was sitting near the emergency window, when the emergency window broke and he fell out. He does not know whether he jumped or was thrown out.
Apart from this, no one talked to me.
We got a call from the office at 9 pm that a passenger has survived in the plane, he has been rescued by the 108 team, please give his information. Our office had sent his name and photo. After seeing his photo, we came to know that we have saved him. The name written by our team for confirmation matched. The second person we saved was named Ramesh.
Story – alive Vishwas Kumar Ramesh
Air E 241 passengers died in the heart-wrenching plane crash of India’s Boeing 787-8 Dream Line in Ahmedabad. In which the survivors
But the only person alive was Vishwas Kumar Ramesh. 40-year-old Vishwas Kumar Ramesh, who was sitting on seat number 11A, survived the plane crash and was being treated at the Civil Hospital. He has now reached Diu. Vishwas Kumar Ramesh jumped out of the plane when it crashed and survived. There are different statements of Vishwas on the plane door breaking, which are given here as they are.
Here is a compilation of what he said in front of the ambulance, doctor, several journalists and a politician. There are many contradictory details and tone in it. But what he said has been given as it is.
Vishwas Kumar Ramesh says, I survived when the door broke, people were burning in front of me. Vishwas, who survived the plane crash, was telling this to the Prime Minister and journalists.
Who is currently being treated in the hospital. His condition is normal. Vishwas Kumar Ramesh told the media in an interview how he was rescued.
Everything was destroyed in front of my eyes
Vishwas Kumar Ramesh told that the plane was trying to climb fast on the runway. Then something strange happened. Suddenly the plane stopped for 5-10 seconds. Then suddenly the green and white lights came on. It seemed as if the pilot had just taken off the plane. Then the plane rapidly went straight into the hostel building and crashed. The entire plane burned to ashes in front of my eyes.
Vishwas told that the part of the plane where my seat was. That part hit the lower part of the building. The upper part caught fire. Many people got trapped. I fell down along with my seat. When the door broke, I fell down along with the seat, due to a little open space in front of me, I could hardly get out of it. Since there was a wall on the other side of the plane, no one could get out. In front of my eyes, two air hostesses, an uncle and aunty and everything was burning. My left hand got burnt in this accident. But my life was saved. When I came out, I saw that there was fire and smoke everywhere. If I had taken a few more seconds to get out, I would not have been there either.
Vishwas was going to London with his brother, who has died. 14 other people from his village Diu have died. Vishwas and his brother Ajay both live in Leicester, UK. Both were going to London on the same flight.
Vishwas’s another brother Nayan said that Vishwas does not know how the plane crashed. He also does not know how he survived.
Vishwas said, ’30 seconds after take-off, there was a very loud sound and then the plane crashed. Everything happened in the blink of an eye. When I stood up after the plane crash, there were piles of corpses around me. I was very scared and immediately started running away from that place.
Parts of the plane were scattered around me. Suddenly someone caught me and took me to the hospital in an ambulance.
Vishwas Ramesh has been settled in London for the last 20 years. He had come to Diu to meet his family. His 18-year-old brother Ajay Kumar Ramesh was also traveling with him. Vishwas Ramesh said, ‘We had come to Diu for family reasons. My brother was also traveling with me. But now he is not found. Please help us find my brother.’
15 people from Diu region were traveling in the Air India flight. One of them, Ramesh Vishwaskumar, was saved by jumping from the plane. There were 242 people on board the plane in the plane crash in Meghnanigar, Ahmedabad. When none of the passengers on board the plane were expected to survive, Ramesh Vishwaskumar Bhalia was burnt in the flames. But he managed to get out from among the pile of dead bodies.
Vishwas says, I still can’t believe how I survived. At first I thought I was going to die. I was able to open my eyes, I opened my seat belt and tried to get out of the plane.
Ramesh told that the part of the plane next to his seat did not hit the hostel building and was close to the ground floor. My door broke and I saw a small hole. I tried to get out of the plane.
The video of Ramesh walking away from the burning plane went viral immediately.
He told that his left hand was burnt, he was immediately taken to the hospital from the spot.
PM Modi also met Ramesh at the Civil Hospital on Friday morning.
“The side where I was sitting was not the hostel side, it was the ground floor of the hostel. I don’t know about the rest, but the side where I was sitting was on the ground floor and there was little space there. As soon as my door was broken, I saw that there was some space there and then I tried to get out and I came out.
There was a wall of a building in front and the plane had completely fallen on that side, so maybe that’s why no one could get out from that side. It was just that there was space where I was. I don’t know how I survived. When the fire broke out, my left hand also got burnt. Then I was admitted to the hospital. The people here are treating me well. The people here are very good.”
Vishwas’ survival is nothing short of a miracle. For a while, he thought he would die too, but miraculously he survived. About his meeting with Modi, Vishwas said, “PM Modi asked me about the incident. All this happened in front of my eyes. I could not believe how I survived. For example, I thought I would die too. But when I opened my eyes, I was alive. I opened my seat belt and ran away from there. The bodies of my uncle-aunt and the air hostess were lying there…” Describing the incident, Vishwas said, “After takeoff, for 5-10 seconds it seemed as if everything had stopped. Green and white lights were burning in the plane. I think the speed of the plane was increased for takeoff and the plane collided with the hostel building. All this happened in front of my eyes.” Surat doctor couple Dr. Hitesh Shah and his wife Dr. Amita Shah, who were sitting on seats 11B and 11C next to Vishwas Ramesh Kumar, the surviving passenger on seat number 11A, have now become a part of the past.
Chirag Santoki
HBC Chirag Santoki says that at that time I did not know that the person I was carrying in the ambulance was Vishwas Kumar, the only survivor of the plane crash.
Sandhu, who left his food and reached the spot as soon as the explosion took place, first sent an injured civilian to the security guard of the Resident Doctor Hostel.
At the same time, someone was running from the hostel door. Satinder Singh asked HBC Chirag Santoki, who was with him, to take this person. The person, who was shocked by the accident, kept muttering repeatedly that there were other people with him. I consoled him, asked him to be patient and immediately took him to the hospital.
Later my officers and friends told me that the person whom I had taken in the ambulance was the only survivor of the accident.
Program Manager Jitendra Shahi
Program Officer Jitendra Shahi said that I got a call from Supervisor Sandhu that a big accident has happened near the Civil Hospital, probably a plane crash. I immediately sent a message to the 25 ambulances present at the nearest accident site to send them to Ghoda Camp. Within a few minutes 25 ambulances arrived and then ten more ambulances reached the accident site.
EMT Chintan Wankar
EMT Chintan Wankar says, ‘At first I was also stunned to see such a big accident. I also got a little nervous, but soon I controlled my mind and thought that this is our real test. The training given to us during Operation Shield came in handy.
For the team that took Vishwas Kumar, the only survivor of the Ahmedabad plane crash, to the hospital in 108, it was almost the first time that they had seen such a big accident. Therefore, it was natural for them to get nervous and tremble. Adequate training has been given. Due to which they were able to help many injured by calming and consoling them.
Last month, during Operation Shield, we had also taken training for this in Shahibaug area. The experience of which was also fresh. So I calmed Vishwas Kumar and immediately brought him to the hospital and started his treatment. After this, we immediately reached the spot again to help the other injured.
Large number of citizens
Apart from this, many people from Meghaninagar also rushed to help. There are more than 20 people who helped save many people in the burning plane. Those who made live videos of the plane are also heroes of the world. The government never appreciates such heroes. In the Morbi bridge collapse incident and the fire incident in Takshashila, Surat, there were many citizens who saved people. Yet the government did not appreciate them. If they are honored, it proves that narrow-minded officials and narrow-minded leaders believe that the government’s disaster management and government will look bad.
Politicians, to become heroes, go to the survivors with a camera and take pictures. There are true heroes like diamonds as well as false heroes.
