As per the morning report of May 7, 2020, 777 cases of compassion and 97 deaths have been reported in the Jamalpur area.

In the central zone of the city alone, 1839 cases of corona and 154 cases have been reported. The death rate in the central zone is 8.39 percent. Of the full cases reported in the stock, 40 percent cases and 53 percent of deaths have been confirmed in the central zone only.

The number of cases and deaths is also on the rise in the radezone areas declared by the municipal corporation. In Shahpur ward 195 cases and 09 deaths, in Khadia 444 cases and 18 deaths, in Dariapur 175 cases and 19 deaths, in Asarwa 206 cases against 06 deaths. There were 173 cases and 10 deaths in Saraspur, 155 and 12 in Gomtipur, 301 and 25 deaths in Danilimda, 11 deaths against 176 cases in Maninagar, and 418 cases and 13 deaths in Behrampura.

The fact that 3020 cases and 220 deaths have been reported in the ten red zone areas of the city means that 65 percent of the total cases and 75% of the deaths have been reported in just ten years in ten words alone which is a matter of concern.

The city seems to have had a corona explosion over the past week. Ten areas have been declared as Containment Areas by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.

The number of cases and deaths has risen alarmingly in Jamalpur, one of the most high-risk areas in Ahmedabad city. About 75 percent of the city’s deaths are reported in RedZone areas.
