Jigneshkumar Motilal Pandya, corporator of Lunawada Municipality, along with his friend went to Lunawada Police Station to lodge a complaint against Jigar Bharatbhai Pandya. Meanwhile, in the presence of police and other colleagues, District BJP Office Minister Jigar Pandya came to the police station and started threatening to kill him using abusive language.
Later, a complaint was lodged against Jigar Pandya for assaulting councilor Jignosh Pandya in the police station itself. The case was run in Lunawada trial court. Panels and witnesses were examined. District BJP Office Minister Jigar Pandya has been sentenced to 1 month by the court. A fine of one thousand rupees was imposed. For not paying the fine, 10 days simple imprisonment was imposed.
