34-year-old BJP leader Deepika Patel has committed suicide at her home. She was the president of BJP Mahila Morcha in Althana Ward No. 30 of Surat city. Police have sent Deepika Patel’s body for postmortem. Family members have suspected murder.
Deepika Patel’s family members suspected that she was murdered. Deepika Patel’s family demanded a forensic postmortem. Police reached the spot after receiving information about Deepika Patel’s suicide.
The reason behind Deepika Patel’s suicide is not yet known. Police is investigating the matter. Deepika was a BJP worker for many years. When she committed suicide, her children were at home. Her husband was in the field.
In Deepika Patel suicide case, her family has expressed doubts and the police has started investigation.
It so happened that immediately councilor Chirag Solanki and a person named Akash reached, or was present there. When corporator Chirag Solanki brought down Deepika Patel’s body after slitting her throat without informing the police, a big question arose whether Deepika Patel committed suicide or was murdered. The reason for the suicide is not yet known.

Nimesh Patel, a relative of the deceased Deepika Patel, has called this incident a murder. He told that at the time of the incident, councilors Chirag and Akash were in their house, apart from this no one was present from Deepika Patel’s house. There were children and the deceased woman’s husband was on the farm. He said why did councilor Chirag Solanki remove the body. Nimesh Patel has demanded a proper investigation into this. A forensic postmortem has been demanded. Only Sachin area councilor Chirag and another person Akash were present in the room. If someone is trapped, he should first inform the police, but instead of calling the police, Chirag leaves Deepika downstairs. We suspect that Deepika has been strangled to death, so the entire matter should be investigated and we should get justice. We suspect that this is not suicide but murder. Because, there was no rope or dupatta where Deepika was trapped.

CCTV outside the woman leader’s house has also surfaced. In the CCTV, councilor Chirag of Sichan area and another person named Akash are seen going to the woman leader’s house.

Postmortem done- Police
In this regard, DCP Vijay Singh Gajjar said that Deepika Patel’s body has been sent for postmortem. The real reason will be revealed after the postmortem report. He told that the deceased’s husband has been talked to, but he has not accused anyone yet. Regarding councilor Chirag disposing of the body without informing the police, he said that this is a common thing, it happens often.
The body was immediately taken to the hospital
According to Minesh Patel, a relative of the deceased woman, Deepikaben’s husband was not at home at the time of the incident, but her boys were at home. On receiving the message of Deepikabe committing suicide, people named Chirag and Akash reached there. In which Chirag Solanki was working as a municipal servant with Deepikaben. Both of them strangled Deepikaben and brought her down and instead of informing the police, shifted her body to Civil Hospital, Sidhu. Many questions have been raised by the family in this matter.
