In 5 years, BJP’s Modi government has sold 6 army companies for 26,000 crore rupees. The public sector undertaking (DPSU) has raised Rs 26,457 crore by selling its stake in public sector undertakings. Minister of State for Defense Shripad Naik has given this information.
The company is involved in aircraft manufacturing, missile production, fighter aircraft manufacturing and space satellite equipment. Sources are now assuming that Modi can sell ISRO in Ahmedabad to some extent.
Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has raised Rs 14,184 crore, Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has raised Rs 8,073.29 crore and Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) has raised Rs 2,371.19 crore.
434.14 crore from the sale of stake in Mixed Metal Corporation Limited (MIDHANI), Rs. 420.52 crore from Garden Rich Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (Greece) and Rs. 974.15 crore from the sale of stake in Mazgaon Dock Shipbuilders Limited.
The government may sell its stakes in Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Macon Limited and Andrew Yule & Company Limited.
