Government is determined for prompt justice: CM

Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani today expressed that the state government is determined to provide ultramodern facilities to the people when they arrived at the “Nayay Mandir” (Court Complex) for seeking the justice.
He stated this at a function, organized by Bhavnagar Bar Association at Yashwantrai Natyagruh, to honour him for allocating a land plot for constructing an ultramodern court complex for the Bhavnagar District Court at Bhavnagar city. The new court complex will have court conference room, library, meeting room, enough sitting arrangements for lawyers and judges and other amenities.
Mr. Rupani asserted that still people have trust in the judiciary, and it is the need of the hour that this confidence should be maintained forever. He also urged to the judiciary world to ensure that last man of the society receives prompt justice, experience the real justice and waiting cases burden on the courts should be reduced.
Minister of State for Law Mr. Pradipsinh Jadeja said that in the current financial year the state government has allocated a fund of Rs. 1200-crore for the law department. The proposed court complex would be built at a cost of Rs. 125-crore at Bhavnagar.
He also stated that tehsil courts have been set up in 249 tehsils of Gujarat. The district courts have also been made functional in the seven newly formed districts. In near future, as many as 221 new A. P. would be appointed.
