Political changes may be on the horizon in Gujarat. Narendra Modi and Amit Shah are repeatedly issuing new orders to the Gujarat government from Delhi. The administration and political decisions of the Gujarat government have been controlled from Delhi for the past 12 years. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, who was in Delhi, suddenly went to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Gujarat has now become a sub-state. The Congress government used to receive orders from Delhi, and the same is true for Gujarat BJP leaders and the government.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel held their second long meeting in Delhi in six days. Narendra Modi is giving administrative orders over the phone. But when political decisions need to be made, he orders the leaders to appear before him in Delhi. This is also largely a secret political matter, kept under wraps. All decisions regarding Gujarat are being made by Narendra Modi.
The dispute over appointments in the BJP has intensified. The infighting among groups led by Anandiben Patel, Nitin Patel, and Amit Shah is increasing.
Bhupendra Patel went to Delhi yesterday to participate in the CREDAI National Conclave. Later, he met Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On Sunday, Bhupendra Patel, Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, State BJP President Jagdish Panchal, and Organization General Secretary Ratnakar were ordered to come to Delhi.
Jagdish Panchal failed to form the organization. Delhi is unhappy with his failure. There are differences and pressure within the party. Leaders other than those from the RSS are not being included in the organization. The Congress group is pressuring for their inclusion.
Therefore, Gujarat BJP leaders are repeatedly having to rush to Delhi. They are meeting the Prime Minister, the BJP National President, and the Union Home Minister to receive orders.
The announcement of the BJP organization has been delayed for some reason. They have been asked to make a decision keeping the local body elections in mind.
