Ahmedabad, 9 December 2024
It was decided to build Bhuj-Nakhtrana 45 km high speed corridor.
For that Rs. 937 crore will be spent. A four-way road is to be built. It is currently 10 meters wide. For which the work was completed in 2021 and now heavy expenditure is being made again. It will cost a lot to build a canal for desert animals to cross the road.
Even the local people have to make a drain every two kilometers to cross the road. Thus like 100 canals or bridges will have to be built. If they do not do this, people and wild animals like sheep, goats and cattle will have to deal with pollution.
The speed will increase to reach Mata Madh, Narayan Sarovar, Dhordo, Sad Rann, International Border, Panandro Lignite Mine. The white desert is 80 km from Bhuj. 8 lakh people come to Rann Mahotsav. 1 lakh people pass through this road every day. He was very upset. Now he will be charged Rs. 200.

Only 50 percent work was done in 8 months. The contractor had to complete it in 6 months. The condition was that it would take two years to build the entire road.
No effort was taken to put soil, stones, stones on both sides of the road, put up sign boards or install reflectors with white stripes. There were one-foot potholes on the side of the road. Crazy branches of acacia were fallen on the road of the highway.
