The system of manually allotting fishing tokens to fishing boats, which was in force, has been replaced by the Department of Fisheries, which is important for national security. To issue tokens online from 1st April-2022 Software has been developed. For services like registration of fishing boats, fishing license, change of ownership, earlier fishing boat owners had to apply to the concerned district office with all the necessary documents. With the launch of completely paperless online boat registration service through this account from June-2022, fishermen no longer need to visit the office. Digital certificate is also made available online. Diesel VAT relief is credited to the bank account. The completely paperless I Khedut module is effective from July 2022.
