Green energy Gujarat is waiting all over the country to produce clean energy through renewable energy. Now the world will wait

Gujarat ranks first in the country in installing solar roof top system. 2 lakh solar roof top system built in 2020-21. Gujarat is currently generating 943 MW of electricity through solar roofs. Gujarat alone accounts for 22% of the country’s solar rooftop electricity generation. That is, Gujarat is the first in power generation through solar rooftop.

13% share of Gujarat

The Government of Gujarat has formulated a solar policy to produce clean and green energy by gradually reducing coal-based electricity consumption. Gujarat accounts for 13% of the country’s total production. Made policies in the field of solar energy, wind energy. To achieve global achievement in the field of renewable energy.

12267 MW generation

Wind power, solar power, biomass energy and mini hydel renewable energy are generating 12267 MW of power in Gujarat. 20 thousand MW will be done by 2022. By 2030, 67 thousand megawatts of electricity will be generated. Out of which 20 thousand MW power will be given to other states.

GSEC Solar Projects

The state government has formulated a policy to allocate land to GSEC for the development of solar projects. The land has been leased to GETCO Sub Station where there is additional capacity at the rate of Rs 1 per hectare for 30 years. Under which 585 MW power has been generated in the last one year.

KUTCH

Construction of the world’s largest 30,000 MW renewable power park has started in Kutch at a cost of Rs 1.50 lakh crore. Will stop production of 50 million tons of carbon dioxide every year. 1 lakh people will get employment. Environmentally, about 90 million trees will benefit from this plant.

India ranks fourth in the world in the field of renewable energy. Energy efficiency has increased 16-fold in the last 6 years. The country has a solar power capacity of over 36,000 MW. Gujarat Energy Minister Saurabh Patel said this. (translated from Gujarati)
