Ahmedabad runner Rupesh Makwana will find a place in the Guinness Book of Word Records

A better story than the script of the film ‘Super 30’ has been created by Rupesh Makwana, a young sprinter from Gujarat. Whose name can hold a world record. Rupesh Makwana submitted a claim for the Guinness Book of World Records. 6000 km ultra runner Rupesh Makwana reached India Gate on 21 February 2023 in collaboration with PEFI under the aegis of sports activities of ABVP, the youth wing of BJP and Sangh.
The team of Guinness Book of World Records can verify all the documents and issue a certificate for the record. Sufficient documents are required to claim the same. He set the world record for running, but he has changed the lives of 800 youths. Has given new life to hundreds of children living in slums.
His name is recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. The race was to be completed in 99 days, but he completed the race in 88 days 1 hour 28 minutes.
Rupesh Makwana has taken the initiative of drug free, sports, stress free, save youth, save country and save earth. Completed 6 thousand km race on 20 May 2023 in Delhi.
The run started on 21 February 2023 from India Gate in Delhi. Running in 13 states, completed the journey of 6 thousand km in just 88 days.
The 13 states are Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, UP and Delhi.
Rupesh Makwana left Delhi on 21 February. He reached Valsad on March 13 at 5 pm. He was welcomed at Dharampur Chowkdi by the team of local club Sunday Sports Valsad. Rupeshbhai left for Vapi on the morning of 14 March. He used to travel 65-70 km every day. He reached Valsad from Delhi via Jaipur, Ajmer, Ahmedabad, Surat. From Valsad reached back to Delhi via Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Kolkata, Jharkhand, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
His name has been registered in the Guinness Book of World Records and the work of document verification is underway.
He was running even in 44 degree temperature. Due to which the skin of the mouth and shoulder got burnt. The mouth was open. There was heavy rain and hailstorm during the run in Kolkata. Still continued to run. Sometimes all the three seasons were merged in one day.
When Rupesh Makwana returned to Ahmedabad on Tuesday after completing this race, he was warmly welcomed and respected by the trainees as well as their family and friends.
This brave youngster from Gujarat has once again proved that nothing in the world is difficult to entertain people.


Training
An enterprising youth from Ahmedabad has helped 300 people by providing free training to youths to make career in police, army, defense, sports fields.
Athlete coach Rupesh Makwana, who lives in Naroda area of Ahmedabad, has given free training to 300 youths in sports jumping, defense sector in 5 years.
500 youths have been made drug free.
Defense conducts field training in the morning and sports training in the evening. In the afternoon he goes to the slums and teaches the children.
In 2015, he could not join the police due to his short stature to join the police. This failure has made him successful. After that, free training was started for the youth. Its failure has changed the lives of more than 800 youths.
Trained 300 youth in sports and defense sector. Of these youth, 60 are in Army, 58 in Gujarat Police, 2 in Navy, 2 in Air Force.
He used to stand on the edge of a leaf to find youths and children for training. He used to meet children and youth who were addicted to drugs and used to explain that our life is very important for the country and the family. Gathered the youth who wanted to quit drugs.
Father works as a tailor. Mother works at home, while brother is a web developer. Its income is spent on services for children and young people. Educates children from poor areas and provides necessities and facilities. Have left here prepared, they are all helping.
Discipline comes from sports. Only the game knows how to convert defeat into victory.
Cross country runner Rupesh Makwana completed his 6,000 km run at India Gate on Saturday. His name is recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records for this achievement. Under the aegis of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) sports activities and PEFI (Physical Education Foundation of India), Rupesh started the 6000 km long run from India Gate on 21 February 2023 with a target of completing it in 99 days.


2019
In September 2019 also, 3 youths from Ahmedabad fled from Gandhi Ashram to Delhi in 15 days to get rid of drugs. He also gave a unique message to the youth of the country to stay away from drugs. Three youths from Ahmedabad, Rupesh Makwana, Lokesh and Partha had left for Delhi on August 19 from the Gandhi Ashram in Ahmedabad. Traveled 1023 km from Ahmedabad to Delhi.
These three youths from Gujarat worked in many schools of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana and Delhi to motivate the youth for meditation or exercise.
